Homemade preserved lemons will take 20 minutes of active work time and about 1 month of pickling time in the fridge. Ingredients

  • 8 large lemons
  • ½ cup Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pepper corns
  • 4 to 5 dry bay leaves
  • Fresh lemon juice of 7 to 8 lemons, (about 2 1/2 cups of fresh lemon juice) )
